Afgelopen zaterdag vonden de clubkampioenschappen jeugd 2017 plaats. Wegens 2 afmeldingen deden er uiteindelijk 18 jeugdleden mee.
In de B-poule was de spanning zeer groot. Hier was snel duidelijk dat Collin, Roderick en Lieke om de prijzen zouden strijden. Uiteindelijk hadden ze alle drie evenveel wedstrijden gewonnen, ook onderling was het precies gelijk (alles 3-2) Hierdoor moesten er punten worden geteld om te bepalen wie er had gewonnen. Met minimale verschillen werden de prijzen verdeeld. Lieke behaalde met 96 punten de 3e plaats, Collin werd 2e met 99 punten en Roderick werd 1e met 100 punten.
In de A-poule bleven na de eerste 4 rondes alleen Nils en Femy nog ongeslagen. Uiteindelijk bleven zij tot aan de laatste ronde allebei ongeslagen en dus werd het ook de finale. Nils nam een 2-0 voorsprong in games maar Femy kwam heel sterk terug tot 2-2. In de laatste game bleek Nils net iets scherper en daardoor werd hij voor de eerste keer clubkampioen van de jeugd! Micha pakte de derde plaats. Dit was niet gemakkelijk, want 3 spelers zaten allemaal met winstpartij minder er vlak onder.
Tussendoor werd er nog gezellig geluncht met zijn allen, wat ons betreft was het een geslaagde dag!
